BRAND HISTORY

AŸA was born from the friendship between Ana Kurc and Juliana Sverner. Ana, the creative director, graduated from the Instituto Europeo di Design and the Marangoni Institute in Paris, where she specialized as an Image Consultant. Juliana, who graduated in Fashion and Business Administration in São Paulo, spent some time in New York before returning to Brazil to join Ana, her childhood friend, in the made-to-measure party dresses segment.

Faced with a lack of party dress options in the Brazilian market, they created a small collection, which was sold at an intimate event, held at the home of one of them, to friends and acquaintances. It didn't take long for the brand to carve out an important niche in the Brazilian party fashion market, dressing major artists and influencers organically.

In 2018, Juliana moved to Portugal, where she went on to lead the company's marketing department. As the brand grew and demand increased, Giovanna Eliezer, who used to be a lawyer, joined the team. Enchanted by the fashion world, Giovanna specialized in Fashion Inc. at Perestroika and in trends at WGSN. Today she is responsible for the commercial sector, leading the brand to new heights of success.

ATELIER

AŸA has been known in the luxury market since 2013 for its patterned, timeless bridal and party dresses that blend structure and fluidity in a harmonious way. Produced in noble fabrics such as silks, lace, crepes and velvets with the brand's characteristic sophisticated appeal.

In order to make its creations unique, aya also uses handmade embroidery techniques, such as the famous Luneville embroidery. She also uses accessories such as belts, ornaments, bows, flowers and draped details. Based on the slow-fashion concept, the imagination for new models does not require adjusting to the seasons, keeping our catalog “open” in sync with the atelier's demand.

Currently selling throughout Brazil and with a partnership with e-commerce Shop2Gether, it aims to extend its niche outside the country.
